Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Engineer with expertise in Snowflake and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data integration solutions by leveraging APIs to retrieve reports from various applications and efficiently store them in Snowflake.


The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of software professional services delivery. The candidate should have excellent communication skills. Listening skills, confidence, and the ability to quickly become a trusted advisor are traits that separate high performers from others in this role.


This is an important and critical part of our Professional Services team and reports to the Manager of Professional Services.





 

 

 

Responsibilities [AS1] [MK2]

Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into Snowflake.

Utilize Python to create scripts for automating data retrieval and processing tasks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data sources and business needs.

Develop and maintain API integrations to fetch reports and data from external applications.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the integration process.

Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.

Document integration processes, data flows, and architecture designs.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion and processing.

Perform solution testing effort (UAT) to ensure solution works as designed and work with other cross functional teams to resolve any outstanding issues

Perform / Manage the production cut-over process and ensure solution moves to production systems

Post go-live, effectively transition the solution to Operations and play a key role in promoting solution adoption with operations and customer teams during stabilization phase

Qualifications

Techno-functional background with at least 3 - 6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas including but not limited to:

Experience with cloud platforms

Knowledge of data visualization tools

Ctr-M Application knowledge will be added advantage

Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Proven experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and SQL optimization.

Strong proficiency in Python, particularly in data manipulation and automation.

Experience with RESTful APIs, including design, development, and integration.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
