Responsibilities:
The Manager for the combined DevSecOps&SRE team is responsible for the
continuous integration, continuous deployment of high quality SW and managing all the live environments (production and non-production).
The person needs to identify, evaluate and develop tools for improving engineering and operational efficiency across builds and deployments
Manage day to day operational tasks on production and all non-production
environments.
Troubleshoot and fix issues in production and non-production environments. Actively participate and drive the root cause analysis process and address the core issue to help improve the security, reliability, performance posture of our SaaS platform.
Review and improvise the monitoring and management systems
Automate operational tasks: set and execute on quarterly targets for the same.
Responsible for FinOps of our multi-cloud environment.
Bring in a mindset of continuous improvement; nurture and motivate self and team to be a better version of themselves.
Skillset:
The ideal candidate needs to have hands-on technical knowledge of the above
areas and be a good team player and manager. Should be able to raise the bar for
self and the team.
Familiarity with ansible, terraform, git, kubernetes, Jenkins.
Good with Python programming and Bash scripting. The person should have hands-on work experience in setting up, administering and on-going applications management on GCP and AWS or Azure.
